Designing
experiences.

I consider every project as the design of an experience. By designing physical and digital products, interiors, graphics and services we design the experiences, the touchpoints delivering and immersing consumers in the solutions able to satisfy their needs and purposes.

My interdisciplinary approach allows me to develop design ecosystems characterized by different touchpoints, able to create more immersive experiences and a higher level of added value.

Defining clearly a strong sense of purpose is crucial to create value through innovation. Some projects are mainly innovative on a visual, conceptual, creative domain - what I call soft innovation - others let prevail the technical, functional, feasible areas - hard innovation.

Multidisciplinary projects often combine both of them. They frequently turn into great products and services, into more immersive experiences and ecosystems. Exploring, creating valuable insights and thus defining clear and essential purposes becomes a fundamental driving factor of innovation.

Envisioning, exploring and evaluating are the core elements of an iterative process placing people at the centre of each project. I conduct an explorative phase following a continuous collaborative process with a well-established empathetic attitude.

Continuous research and updated knowledge of the state-of-the-art and trends regarding each area is fundamental when developing multidisciplinary projects. It allows to design projects and ecosystems where design areas are better integrated and cross-fertilization processes are enhanced.

This implies a crucial balance between “horizontal” and “vertical” knowledge, as a sort of iterative “zoom in and out” process of research. It strengthens and updates this multiple background, allowing to better understand and manage complexity while identifying the possible driving factors leading to innovation.
